Policy and Procedures

1. MYJAYCOUNTY.COM,
is referred to as Progressive Office Products in these pages. Progressive Office Products strives to provide the highest quality Internet service available and at the same respect standards which have developed within the Internet community. To that end, certain activities and conduct is inappropriate or is abusive and will not be tolerated on our network. This policy is not meant to be exhaustive, but is necessary to protect our ability to operate a fast, reliable network and to protect the collective interests of our customers. Progressive Office Products reserves the right to make changes to this policy at any time without individual notice to our customer base. Any changes will be posted on our web site at http://www.myjaycounty.com. Use of our services is conditional upon customer compliance with our terms and conditions of service. Those who find our terms and conditions unreasonable should discontinue use of these services. Continued use of this service amounts to acceptance of these policies.

2. BILLING PRACTICES AND PAYMENT TERMS:
Customer’s accounts that are contracted as “Monthly” customers are due on the first of each month and considered past due after the 10th of the month. Any account that goes unpaid by the 10th of the second month, could experience interruption of service and be charged a $2.00 late fee. Such interruption of service does not relieve you of your obligation to pay for the past service or any future service. If you default, you agree to pay Progressive Office Products its reasonable expenses, including attorney, collection or court costs, incurred in enforcing its rights stated in this policy. If a check is returned because of insufficient funds, your account will be charged a $25.00 return check fee and your service will be interrupted until payment is made in the form of cash, money order, credit or debt card or cashiers check. If you wish to cancel your service with Progressive Office Products this needs to be done prior to the invoice date. It is preferred that you either email us (support@myjaycounty.com) with your request or postal mail us with your request (120 N. Meridian St. Portland, IN 47371).

3. Definition of “Unlimited Internet Access”:
Unlimited internet access refers to the ability to access the web without having any restrictions placed on what you do or when you connect to the service. Progressive Office Products will interrupt your access to our service if you have been connected to the server for 10 consecutive hours or after 20 minutes of idle time. This is done only to ensure that no one is abusing the use of the server equipment. There are no dedicated lines on this internet service.

4. Resale of Services or Sharing of Accounts:
Without prior written consent from the management of Progressive Office Products, no account can be transferred or sold to another individual. Only the listed users are allowed to use the account or change any information pertaining to this account.

5. Warranty disclaimer:
Progressive Office Products is providing service from the local phone company to the World Wide Web through our server equipment. We have no control over the condition of the phone lines that you connect to or the condition of the web site you are wishing to reach. Progressive Office Products’ responsibility is in ensuring that we provide the proper working equipment, making it possible for you to search the web through the use of our equipment. Progressive Office Products does not guarantee any particular speed of connection, any error free connections or any uninterrupted connections.

6. Lawful Purpose and Use:
The internet service provided by Progressive Office Products may be used for lawful purposes only. Customers are prohibited from transmitting material that is illegal, proprietary, obscene or criminal. Any form of bulk emailing is prohibited. The posting of messages or commercial advertisements which violate any rules and or regulations of any newsgroup or mailing list is prohibited. Customers found in violation will have their service terminated and could be reported to the proper authorities.

7. Other unacceptable Conduct:

1. Security breech or disruption of net communication or attempts to do so.
2. Pornography on our site.
3. Deceptive on line marketing practices. Suspected activity will be referred to the enforcement arm of the Federal Trade Commission. For further information on this, you may review the Deception Policy Statement on the FTC web site: http://www.ftc.gov/.
4. Electronic “stalking “and other form of harassment. Anything on the internet can be traced.
5. Introducing or attempting to introduce any form of viruses, worms or “pests” through email.
6. Sending any email chain letters or other types of pyramid schemes are discouraged as these items use up available bandwidth and slows down the email server.

8. Responsibility for content:
Your connection to the internet is private and as a result we cannot control the nature of the material that you may encounter. Progressive Office Products expressly disclaims liability for any harm resulting from encountering any offensive material. We also reserve the right to pull down any web site found on our network which, in our judgment, is inappropriate. The owner of this site will be notified.

9. Acceptable use of other networks:
It is expected that Progressive Office Products comply with the policies of any other internet network accessed through “Myjaycounty.com”. Any customer who interferes with another user’s enjoyment and use of the services provided will be in violation of our policy. Violators will have their service terminated and may be turned over to the proper authorities.

10. Violations of terms and conditions:
Progressive Office Products is a private company, not required to offer or provide service. Accordingly we are solely responsible for determining if a violation of our policy has occurred. We reserve the right to review or censor material and information transmitted through our network. Abuse of the policy could result in suspension and/or termination of service without notice. We reserve the right to interpret this policy in its sole discretion and to amend, revise, add or delete any provision of this policy without prior notice to the customer. If changes are made to this policy, the revised policy will be displayed on our web site.
